Where does the name Navitas come from?
It is from the Latin vocabulary and means Energy.
What does the association stand for?
Navitas Student Association aims to create a social forum for those who are curious and interested in sustainability. Navitas goal is that all our members will have the opportunity to learn more about sustainability in a warm, fun and social environment. Members should get a natural sustainable mindset that spreads to the individual, business and society
Why should I become a member?
Navitas Student Association gives you the opportunity to make new connections, exchange ideas with companies, organisations and students with an interest in sustainability. You can also, as a member, participate at Navitas Student Association's various social events.
Does it cost anything to be a member?
Nope, the membership is free!
What is included in the membership?
The association organizes a number of sustainability-related events for its members. It can be anything from guest lectures and business cases to trips and movie nights. All events are paid as much as possible by the association. The associations surplus always goes back to the members.
What does it mean to be an Active Member?
Navitas Active Members is members of the board and the committees. Being an Active Member in Navitas is a great learning and social experience as well as a great addition to your resume. To become an Active Member you need to apply during one of our recruitment periods. Read more about our Active Members here!
I want to get involved in the association, how shall I proceed?
Please contact us and introduce yourself. Write what you want to do and what you can do for us! We take in a new board every spring, and new committee members during the late spring and early fall. You can reach us via our e-mail adress: kontakt@navitas.se.
A membership in NAVITAS is completely free and gives you access to plenty of fun events.
